Obedience Training for Dogs and their Humans
Obedience training is one of the best things you can do for your dog and yourself. Obedience training doesn’t solve all behavior problems, but it lays the foundation for solving most problems. Training opens up a line of communication which is vital to a healthy relationship with your dog.
The following are some excellent training resources:
Hopalong and Second Chance Rescue’s Tammy Quirin has over 20 years experience training dogs. She came to us with a successful career managing a working dog program for people in the military and at the Pentagon. In her spare time, she has trained civilian people and their pets. Classes are held at Pet Food Express locations throughout the Bay Area. A six-week session costs just $150, and 20 percent of the proceeds go directly to Hopalong and Second Chance Animal Rescue. Tammy is also offering a special $25/class rate for individuals who do not want to commit to paying for six-weeks.
