Personality: Chrissy has a heart defect, grade 5/6 heart murmur, and needs surgery. She is a shining star who will jump into your lap and smother you with kisses before running off to chase her ball. We are committed to providing her with a long and active life. Medical costs will be about $2,500. We need donations AND a foster home where she can recover. She sat in the shelter for 3 months with nobody rescuing her because of her heart condition.

Personality: Cody is a happy-go-lucky pup who was surrendered to a local shelter when the family couldn't care for him anymore. He is energetic and fun and seems to get along great with everyone. Cody likes to play with toys and would be a great family dog and would probably be an easy dog for first-time dog owners too. Cody is always smiling and his great attitude will soon have you smiling too!

Personality: Gucci was recently a mama. She is gentle and sensitive and needs a family that will provide her with confidence and love. She adores spending time in laps and can’t get enough cuddles. She’s fine with other dogs, but prefers ones who aren’t too pushy. This girl would do well in a home with older kids. She also will require regular grooming.

Personality: Brie has a beautiful personality and she can't wait to get groomed so her outside will match her insides! Brie is soft and sweet and likes to be brushed and petted. She can get nervous in new situations but she makes friends fast. Brie seems fine with other dogs and doesn't mind cats. Brie would do best in a quieter home with kids 10 and up.

Personality: Tolliver was surrendered to the shelter when his family lost their home to foreclosure. He is a very sweet dog but he is big and strong and will need some training. He does know sit and is always happy to do it when you ask him to. Tolliver seems to do ok with dogs and cats. Tolliver would probably do fine in a home with most dog-savvy kids

Personality: Bryce is a sweet puppy but is nervous in new situations and surroundings. He is very interested in exploring new places and meeting new people, but he needs to go at his own pace. Bryce seems to do well with other dogs and would probably benefit from a home with another dog who can help bring him out of his shell.  Bryce seems fine with cats as well. Because he can get nervous, Bryce should be in a quieter home.

Personality: She is very sweet and mellow and seems to be really easy going. She would probably do well with one long walk a day. She rides really well in the car and would make a great travel companion. Sista is very tolerant of handling and would probably do well in a home with most kids. Sista seems to be fine with mellow dogs, but gets a bit nervous with bigger, bouncier dogs. Sista is a very talented escape artist and can never be unattended in your yard!

Personality: Señor Guapo is a quiet and reserved gentleman. He loves to be on your lap or near you. Guapo loves walks and does well on a leash. He has a “happy” attitude and loves to do a little dance to greet you at the door. He is working on basic obedience commands. Crate and house training are going well He’s Ok with dogs and cats. He’d enjoy living in a quiet household, kids 12+.  Did we mention he is VERY ADORABLE?!!!!! And, he is housetrained.

Personality: Moose is a friendly and happy guy. He enjoys meeting new people. Once he knows you, he will happily jump in your lap and give you plenty of kisses. He already knows “sit”, and is working on “down”. He is good with other dogs, and possibly even cats. He does need some additional training, and would benefit from an adopter who will work with him and continue to expose him to new things. He’s a medium energy level dog, happy to go on a walk, but also enjoys just hanging out around the house. Ok with kids 12+. He is working on house training and crate training in his foster home.

He loves to be around people and cuddle on any available lap. He is an energetic pup, and will need daily exercise. He would do great in a home with Min Pin experience, and able to continue his obedience training. He is good with other dogs, kids 10+, we’re not sure about cats.  He is working on potty training & crate training in his foster home.

Personality: Morton is a nice, chill little dog. He enjoys his neighborhood walks or hanging in his foster's backyard.  He's smart, very eager to please and wants nothing more than a nice warm lap to sit on!  Morton is fine with other dogs and cats. Would be great for somebody looking for a low energy level dog, that's sweet and affectionate and easy to care for.  Poodles require regular grooming. Morton is a Special Needs Adoption, with his adoption fee reduced to $150. He has chronic bronchitis, which is very common in his breed. It basically means that he will always have a bit of a cough. It is easy to treat with cough medication.

Personality:  Finesse is one great dog.  He is a smaller breed, with the personality of a lab.  He is very smart, friendly, polite and outgoing.  Finesse has great house manners too, completely house trained.  He's very mellow, takes long naps during the day, but will get very excited for his walks and never tires of walking.  Finesse loves to be around other dogs, but cats are unknown.  Finesse would prefer a home without kids.
