Personality:

Jack Black came to Hopalong after being in a noisy shelter with lots of strangers was just too much for him, but since arriving at his foster home, he has completely turned over a new leaf! Though he still struggles with confidence issues from time to time, he will often come sit next to his foster mom and ask for pets. His confidence grows everyday, and he's even snuggling under the covers at night. Jack Black does great in his crate while his foster mom is at work, and doesn’t make a peep. He is housebroken and making excellent strides with leash training. He has also never displayed any signs of aggression. He’s slowly being introduced to more people which is helping with his confidence building. His favorite thing to do is drag his tummy on the rug and get a good scratching.

Jack Black would do best in a home with no young children, as he thrives in a quite, low energy environment. It’s also recommended that he goes to a home with another small dog as he is most comfortable around a buddy.
