Adopt Me

Personality:

Raven who is also Rosalina and mama is 2yrs old. she was found with her pups. We watched her as an alert mama tending her pups and she was so calm and caring. The puppies all moved on and found forever homes. Raven/Rosalina really came out of her shell into the sweetest, fun, loving dog.

She has been spayed and ready for that fun family for her to be a part of. She is thought to be a lab/pit mix, 60lbs and very very strong. You WILL need a harness with handle as she knows the stubborn statue move well when on leash. She loves to roam our backyard, but waits excitedly for her walks. She would make a good hiking/outing partner for someone. Her calm nature is good when new animals are encountered/introduced.

She traveled well from East Bay to Burbank in the car. She does have some anxiety and motion sickness, but give her 1 Trazadone Tab and 1 Anti-nausea med and she's good to go! We learned this from her mishap going to the vet and back, so the meds help for travel/car anxiety. She was a good companion but need to tether her or place a front/back seat barricade. She has no problem climbing into the front seat otherwise.

She is high value treat/praise motivated and learned the sit command quickly and leave it (when walking out side). If she sees the leash, it's over - you better be ready!

She is quirky/gentle with the right amount crazy and chill. We will surely miss her. We would love to find a fur-ever family to provide the time and interaction for this awesome Mama!

Food: Worst case of gas ever! We switched to Natural Balance kibble and Lotus brand wet food (she won't eat just dry kibble so you must have something to wet her palate literally). When I have it, will alternate squirting some American Journey Salmon Oil over the kibble instead of wet food so she doesn't become overweight. She loves chicken jerky, some peanut butter biscuits, Hundurs Fish pieces, and try to stick to items minimally processed. She doesn't fart like she used to, so we are all very happy (wet foods with agar-agar seem to be better tolerated).

House Trained: Must watch for silent cues. Has not barked for us, but we go outside on a semi schedule before/after work or school (WFH 2 days a week) or when she gets antsy or needy - take her out. She will sit outside for hours if you let her! She loves to sun bathe on our deck or lay under the shade.

Toys: Not much of a chewer. LOVES Ropes! She recently started liking stuffies and maybe competition with the pup LOL. She learned to dog with my sister's goldens and will play ball/fetch, but her ultimate fav is tug of war (humans or with other dogs).

Personality: She will bury items outside. She will sleep in your bed when allowed and likes to sleep in the smallest pet beds (so weird). She is a hugger and will comfort you with her entire body pressed against you. Yes, she is a lap dog. She craves human interaction and will be a lapdog (did I mention that?). She will always jump to greet and trying to work on it, but how do you get mad for her being so elated to see you?! She is super cuddly in the AM and will give you kisses at any chance. She has been great with kids 7-15 yrs old and dogs in general. Unsure about cats. Loves to walk on a leash and that she knows what this means.
