Name: Rue and Heather
- Mix/Breed: DSH
- Sex/Age: Females / 2, 3 years
- Location: in Foster
From our foster: “These two are a hoot.
Rue is a great big girl. She's all black and looks like a puma. She loves jumping up on the bed or couch to get some love, and likes to be scratched real rough. She's not really aware of her body, so she's a bit of a klutz. But she's strong, and she's tough.
Heather is graceful and athletic. She's holds herself up like a little princess. She's smart and curious, so she'll explore every accessible surface around her. She loves looking outside through the window and would probably love to explore out there. And she loves shoving past her sister to the couch next to us to be gently petted.
Both cats are very skittish. As described, they love human attention but in particular ways. They vehemently do not want to be held. So they need a patient household that understands that while they have a lot of love to give, they may not be affectionate like other cats you're used to.
But if you've got a good sense of humor, these two are endless entertainment. Watching them play with toys, play-fight with each other, or get into situations is so much fun and they've given their foster parents a lot of laughs.”
